Elsa Valero, M.D.
Dr. Valero is a patient's doctor. Meaning, she has a passion and a reputation for building relationships with patients. This is due to Dr. Valero's belief that good communication is a key component to good health. As her patient, you will be treated as an individual, not a specific condition or disease. In addition, you'll be encouraged to take an active role in your health care -- to ask all of your questions and know all of your options. And because Dr. Valero is fluent in both English and Spanish, patients from a variety of backgrounds enjoy having Dr. Valero as their physician.
Dr. Valero received her Bachelor of Science and Master in Public Health degree from the University of Illinois with an emphasis on Epidemiology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and completed her internship and residency in Family Medicine at Vanguard MacNeal Hospital. She is bi-cultural and fluent in Spanish and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.
